Front annoying noise

Hey guys,

I have an LC 80, i recently changed all by suspension bushes front and back as well as cabin mounts. I hear a noise coming from the front tyres on bumps and rough road. Sounds like the brake pads, however my pads are fairly new as well. Any suggestions? i am planning a trip to the Serengeti in a couple of weeks and this noise is just bothering me...

The pads should have anti rattle clips, are yours in place?

Strange, I had a squeak like a seized caliper might sound, but it was too fast for it to be wheel related.

After a few kms, I realized it only happened on the overrun (mine is a manual box) and it was much more noticeable at low speeds.

After getting home and climbing under the truck, I found it was a dry UJ, the front front. After a few pumps with the grease gun, getting grease emissions from all four bearings, it was as quiet as a mouse. No play either, just a dry metal squeak.

The dry squeak from the UJ's is quite common, normally when rolling slowly for example, towards a red light in anticipation of it going green.
