  1. Rear Diff studs - my diff is being repaired and some of the studs have seen better days - what size and how many do I need? there looks to be 3 different sizes
  2. Alternator - what amps is the standard uk spec unit (twin batteries)?
  3. Rear lower suspension arm and panhard bushes - are these easy to change or do I need a press/mechanic?
  4. Propshaft nuts and bolts are these reusable or should I replace?

After 3 years of ownership I should know some of these but 4x4 still feels very new

2. Alternator - 80/85 Amps for the Colorado models.

3. Getting the old ones out is easy enough as you can use a bit of force. I got most of mine in again with a tool I made up and a heavy Vice, but a press makes light work of it all.

4 - Nuts and bolts are fine, once they aren't damaged ect. It's worth re-tightening the bolts after some miles have been done.

Thanks Bob did the bushes need pressing in after the sleeves are removed?

And any one know on the studs?

They need pressing in, but if you use the white grease in the supplied sachet they are quite easy - a bench vice will do it. The supplied steel sleeves have to be pushed through each pair as well.

Bob.
