Has anyone used these guys before, or can recommend someone to custom make a system near Birmingham?

Sorry I can't, but the price looks good. Most come with a lifetime warranty, so you should be relatively safe with one from anywhere, as long as they're not about to go bust!

I would say see if they can do in 3" makes a big difference in turbo lag.

Is 2.5" a bigger diameter than the standard exhaust then ?

phoned them today, there's a few days lead time for production. They confirmed they are identical to the ones MrV supplies.

I would try contacting some custom exhaust manufacturers. I had a quote for less than that for a custom made system. trouble is, I can't remember who off!
