Right so I have replaced my spheres, and sensors but it used to flash off and wouldn't go up or down.
But while the engine has been rebuilt the battery was disconnected. Not the light doesn't flash off but I can adjust the suspension firmness ( couldn't do before) but it still won't go up or down. Any ideas

I would start by checking the values of the two front sensors. If they are too far apart in their height reading, the ahc ecu will refuse any height change. What does TechStream say? Give us a screen shot.

The tech stream won't pick up the ahc. I haven't done the blink test since having the top end rebuilt. But it was the front gate that came up as the fault.

How do I measure the values of the 2 front sensors.
Are there any ahc specialist in the uk

I had my "Toyota Intelligent Tester II" plugged into my 2001 100 yesterday for the first time.

It was showing me the pressure in the AHC and the height readings from the three sensors at different height settings (along with a load of other info).

Possibly worth getting your friendly Toyota Dealer to do a diagnostic check on it before replacing anything else.

I have a 10mm difference between front right and front left sensors. It won't go into 'High' suspension setting, it tries then just drops back to 'Normal'. I'm hoping its just a matter of adjusting the sensor position to bring them into line (but with my luck I'll be making a call to Simon Holton :icon-rolleyes:).

Bob.

I have bought the spheres from pleid but didn't have them fit them as they are about 4 hours away.
Toyota cannot ready the diagnostics from my truck and my mechanics obd11 doesn't work in it. My tech stream doesn't read the spheres. I have changer 4 spheres and all 3 height adjusters. An stumped.
Need to know how to measure the height adjusters so I can try that

Try the Toyota Tester before you give up. An obd2 tester will not work. If the Toyota Tester does not work either, then the task is to find the fault in the diagnostics plug circuit.
