Karpat Niva Winter Tour 2015

This time, we open the TranskarpatenTours not in hot summer, like always, and start in not could januar. Group include 6 Lada Niva. All car have street snow tyres, only me jus BF Goodrich MT.
Tracks was select not heavy, because in winter easy roads can be difficult. And what about the difficult mountiens roads in winter? No, better don’t drive there. But of course, we don’t have completely easy roads. Some parts was difficult, and last part very difficult. And we don’t have inaf time for truy to drive all the road.
All 4 days we slip in the tents, only first, middle and last days in hotels. Weather was not could. First 2 days only rain. 3 day rain with sun. Only two last days sun weather.
Time at time we have some technical problems, but they was decided easy.
This week in mountiens, with not perfect weather, was wery nice. The atmosphere in group was amazing, and I want tell a lot of thenks for ewry member of oure tour!

Grest pictures not seen a 4 door niva before is that factory or home made?

They are doing lwb versions in some countries now. Saw them advertised in the Balkans last year. Cheap too.

The long wertion is product the LADA factory, but separate from short wertion. All 4 doors nivas born at first 3 dors. Later the bodyies transporting to the other small plant, where they cut on the middle, and welded again, but with 50 cm part.
In sommer tour long wertion was wery good. In wither short was better, they not to much heavy.
