only if your in America. in the UK values are no where near that.

I'd quite like one of the V8 re-engined 40's as a 2nd 'play' LC but an OEM original holds no appeal for me personally no matter how good it was. I guess an original standard 40 is to LC purists the equivalent of series one LR ownership with the green oval enthusiasts?

Your right prices are not like the USA here in the UK but they will be for sure. It wasn't that long ago that Split screen VW had different prices all over the world,,,now they are very expensive even in Burma

OZ prices have gone up loads, so has Japan, there is a big demand for 40s and they are not making any more, ever cruiser I have ever sold I would buy back at the same price I sold them for a year ago
