Hi, I have memory map installed on my iPad, my iPad does not have GPS, I do have a garmin GPS , can I link the two?.

My guess would be no.

You can link your ipad to a bluetooth GPS receiver though. Or tether it to a phone with GPS. But the Garmin probably isn't Bluetooth and the ipad doesn't have a physical input.

Ive got a GNS 2000. Bluetooth GPS. Works great

I don't think you can work an non gps iPad with an external Bluetooth gps, I looked into this when I bought mine and got a cellular one in the end which has a gps

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

note that Garmin have their own set of apps http://www.garmin.com/en-GB/apps - and they will use /pair with a garmin device to either extend it ( ie. send better traffic into to the garmin box ) or consume it ( use the garmin box as a gps only unit ). You do need some way to connect the garmin unit to the mobile device though.
