RELUCTANTLY FOR SALE

1993 Landcruiser 80 VX 4.2 Manual

White with grey leather seats
Removeable 7th seats
154000miles
very strong engine
good gearbox
3 difflocks (all switchable and appear to work)
heated electric front seats

I have only owned this car since november after i took it in p/x for my supercharged range rover. Since november i have done the following-

Removed all the wheel arch extensions and had any rust under them repaired

Fitted 2" milner lift kit(spring/shockers)

Fitted 4 new window rubbers to cure the painfully slow windows

Fitted new winch bumper and rebuilt modified Warn 9.5 ti winch(modified solenoids and bowmotor)

Adjusted fuel pump so it now goes like a 4.2 turbo should go:icon-twisted:

Fitted a side exit 2.75" exhaust so it now sounds like a 4.2 turbo should sound:icon-twisted:

Fitted flip out stereo with DVD player and built in satnav

Fitted a centre difflock switch

Fitted LED interior lights

For a 23 year old car it is in very good condition and is only for sale because i have been offered a friends car i have wanted for years (mk1 escort mexico:icon-cool:) and need to raise some funds:whistle:

BAD POINTS- just being upfront with everyone

Few small dents on body but really good for age
n/s/f wheel arch been repaired but could do with a bit more work to tidy up
Headlamp washers missing
could do with bigger tyres (285s 315s??) to compliment the 2" lift
slight wear on leather but no tears
Black coating coming off centre console (hopefully will be sorted before sale)

PRIVATE PLATE NOT INCLUDED AND WILL BE REMOVED PRIOR TO SALE

£5250 as it is
£4850 without winch
£4600 with original bumper(bit scuffed) and no winch

Will get some more pics soon

I can attest to the accurate description of this Cruiser. I drove it yesterday and know it well as I've worked on it over the last three years prior to Paul owning it. What Paul has done has enhanced it and it has years of reliable life left in it. The previous 2 owners (10 years) were good old fellas ( known to me) who never beat on it and it shows the way it drives today.

( is that what we agreed Paul ??? ) :laughing-rolling:

I Think that's a fair price and should be snapped up pretty quick- My uncle in Africa wants one just like this- if you send him your bank details he will wire you the funds which are part of a large inheritance and I will collect it for him until he has time to pick it up

If its the same guy who lives on the Ivory Coast, i think he has already been in touch:laughing-rolling: but i am only asking £5250 not the £22million he offered:think: Seemed very generous though

Shayne, that makes two of us. Just saw this thread. Interesting....

It's a fine looking thing!

:thumbup:Got someone coming to view on Wednesday next week. (to be honest he contacted me as soon as the ad went on but is working until next wednesday). So fingers crossed

Hope you know what you are doing and not giving this up in favour of the LR90 parked at the back there

:laughing-rolling:Ha! No, the 90 is my mates. Brand spanking new (almost £36k worth!!!) and they have 2!!. I am a landrover man at heart and own a 110 td5 but must admit that the build quality is a universe away from the land cruiser 80 (which is good for me, because i rebuild land rovers for a living:thumbup: )

This is my 110
