As per title we need to sell our 9-3 convertible. It's a reluctant sale but we've been offered a replacement that whilst we didn't really want it, the situation is one where we can't really turn it down.
So:-
2006/06 vector 5 speed automatic
102k miles
1.8 150bhp model, identical to 2.0 engine but detuned, can be mapped to aero spec for about £80 via saab owners club member with superb reputation
MOT is May 16 but happy to put a fresh one on subject to decent sale price
Serviced 4/15 but has only done about 1500 miles since then
We've done quite a few bits and bobs to it - front struts when we did the top mounts, drop links, if I recall correctly a balljoint. I am sure we've done the brakes as well on it but will check. We replaced the automatic gearbox with one from Suffolk Saab as it was playing up, this has the correct grade/type oil in and is spot-on.
No service history as the car is a cat d and the previous owner had moved so couldn't trace him. Vosa check shows mileage as correct. The cat d was solely a wing, bonnet, wheel and foglight. I have the pictures to prove this as it is how we bought it. We replaced with s/h colour matched parts.
Parrot mki9200 fitted with correct loom so has aux in/streaming etc.
Brand new wheels which look stunning, new uniroyal rainsport 3 tyres which have done less than 500 miles.
Body good, hood good, everything works correctly, and she drives beautifully.
We'll never get back what we have put into the car but it is a good one, someone will get the benefit of my endeavours !!!

Finally, here's the damage that caused the cat d - ridiculous

Nice motor, good looking job.

Agreed, Cat d ridiculous.

The insurance companies have taken this categorizing procedure way beyond what it was intended for IMO.
