    My steel pipes split due to corrosion a year or two back and I replaced the majority of them with rubber heater hose as shown above. The small sections of steel pipe I left in,( to act as connectors between the old and new flexible pipes) are now starting to deteriorate so I intend on replacing...

    Knocking sound from the rear when car is not loaded

    +2 for the rear shock top mount. My n/s had completely rotted out and banged like hell when going over bumps. My local mechanic rebuilt them so hopefully be ok for the remaining life of the truck.

    Got to agree with on the good old 3.0 TD....I ran mine on waste aviation fuel rather than queuing at the pumps for the entire day recently.

    Upper and lower ball joints replacement

    Evening. I just replaced the lowers on mine. I used genuine Toyota joints and also replaced the 8 fixing bolts. Cost of the parts was £228 and took around an hour each side once I was set up on the drive. I also bout a cheap set of ball joint separators off Amazon for £40 which made the job easier.
