Hi Del. Hope the restoration of the 70 series is going well. Dont see any of them around here anymore... all crumbled away to nothing at the corner of most Irish farm yards. Looks like serious work done already. A serious find that you got... im definitely looking in the wrong yards :laughing:
By the sounds of it the all terrain are definitely a better choice than the mud terrains for general use. maybe some light off-roading or even some field work
I was in touch with a specialist for an opinion in terms of tyre size. i have been told that a 175/70 on standard wheels and suspension would not cause any rubbing so i will probably look into getting a bigger size than 165

Thank you for the welcome. my family has a history of having forest green cruisers. from research done to this point and knowledge from modifying the car also, insurance do not consider changing wheels as a modification. for passing yearly inspection the standard wheels may need to be used.

Thank you for the opinion. Had not thought of the 80 series wheel. As of now there is not much chance of a lift going on it as it is used mostly for trailer work at the moment. Personalised would be somewhat limited to the basics being honest (wheels, tyres, bullbars, lights... things like...
