    100 Series Plug-in Tuning Modules

Went for a Tunit Advantage 2 (recon'd, good deal on ebay from Michael @ Tunit Chorley) , got the wiring harness in, pretty straight forward. Truck been SORN'd for the last year and moved off the drive for the first time yesterday, so no feedback on functionality or performance yet! Tunit box...

    Corroded filler pipe replacements/alternatives/mods?

Thanks guys! On closer inspection there a few pin holes. I'll go down the rubber hose route. Seems to be enough good metal to play with at the filler end. May also run a breather hose. Not sure. Will certainly be easier to refit in rubber!

    Corroded filler pipe replacements/alternatives/mods?

Hi everyone, My filler pipe is fairly corroded, (caught before it rotted right through anywhere though) and I'm loathe to replace it with a whole new £100+ pipe. It was a nightmare to get out, seemingly fitted in the factory before the body went on... I dread to think how difficult a new one...

    Crankshaft pulley clearance

Needs the tarnish cleaning up after months sat on the drive but here are a couple of pics of mine. I'm not sure what the symptoms of wear would be or what to look for... Never knew this was a wear item!

    HDJ100/1HD-FTE Turbo exhaust flange

Hi Trevor, I'm in Bristol. That 80 system is lovely! Would be great to get a steer on getting the 3 bolt flange fab'd and welded on correctly.

    HDJ100/1HD-FTE Turbo exhaust flange

Cheers for the support, I was hoping someone would pop up and yell "aha! and magic up a flange to fit" but I'm glad to have someone say that it may be possible to fabricate! Just need to find an exhaust shop to assist. As you say... the 'rona is going to put paid to that for some time... good...

Yup, that's it... but seems like I may be up a creek and all that! Might be selling an exhaust for 100 series Land Cruiser with the CT26B soon!

    HDJ100/1HD-FTE Turbo exhaust flange

I was wanting to open up straight to 3" from the turbo outlet. The only off the shelf option seemed to be the Cybox kit you sent a picture of but I was wanting something a bit more. The only other option was full custom. As the truck is off the road and the old exhaust is knackered, I'd need to...

    HDJ100/1HD-FTE Turbo exhaust flange

That's the downpipe for the 4 bolt/CT26B, the exhaust downpipe coming from Oz will have that flange on it, which I need to remove. The 4 bolt flange on its own: I'm looking for just the 3 bolt flange, similar to this: Unfortunately almost all the ones I can find are symmetrical. The...

    HDJ100/1HD-FTE Turbo exhaust flange

Hi guys (and girls if there are any on here?), I'm trying to source a suitable (preferably stainless) 3 hole flange (yes yes... queue dirty jokes) for my 100 series turbo. I've ordered an exhaust from Oz and it's got the 4 hole flange on the dump pipe... Apparently all HDJ100's over there have...

Is that the4wdshed ones? Need to replace drivers side headlamp and indicator on mine as clips broken and was considering the one pieces units but didn't want to do body mods...! May I ask for a rough, ball park cost fully shipped & imported? Were they drop in or did you have issues?

    Intercooler

Tried attaching pics of intercooler inlet and outlet before/after but I'm on my phone and they're too big or something... Not a lot to see. With flash they didn't come out too well and hard to see difference. Before there was very thin oily film, afterwards it was clean metal. Well the bits I...

I did mine with degreaser, lots of rinsing, brake cleaner and dried it with a hot air gun. Outside very crusty. Factory black paint (I assume) was all bubbled and peeling off. Fins pretty beat up and needed straightening and cleaning. I'm hoping to replace with Allisport one at some point...

    100 Series Plug-in Tuning Modules

Hi Guys, I had a quick search on various threads in relevant forums but couldn't really find a great deal of info on plug in boxes for the 1HD-FTE. I'm looking at a custom 3" SS exhaust and possibly Allisport intercooler, if SWAMBO/purse-string holder can be convinced...! Not keen on pushing...

So... Viscous fan coupling... FYI this is not a "how to"! This is just a "how it turned out"...! I read up on as many posts as I could on taking these apart and ended up reasonably brain fried...
