Honestly i could not remember where this came from so long ago but many thanks for the original share!
This has been the Holy Grail for many people including myself!
I am just providing the extension of your original post
I have not got your email so cannot send you a copy?
My theory is that if people are able to service their own cars with lots of TLC they will be around for many years and require lots of OEM parts so what they lose on one they gain on another, not to mention the sales pitch from us type of owners!
Can you actually measure the height change relative to the ground?
Looking at the measurements (i never plugged mine in when repairing) they seem proportionate ie 100/side avg, in the manual there is a method to measure the actual resistance of the height control and set them that...
I remember having a problem with my wipers making a similiar noise on my last LC, i took the mechanism out and cleaned it all up and greased the joints, it was fine after that. Dont recall any difficulties getting the unit out?
I fitted my bumper sensors on my last LC, depending on the kit its quite a straight forward job.
If you let me have your email i can send you the manual that is full of all the detail you will ever need!

Sorry for late reply,
You say its stuck in 'nuetral' i assume you are referring to the 'normal' position?
When you move it to high (when the car is stationary) does it raise up?

Over the last month i have noticed that bumps seem to be getting bigger, but only on the rear (mine only has rear air suspension).
Decided to investigate this week, firstly sent the car to its high position, nothing happened...

I know when i had some beariung ABS problems i got dash lights but no buzzer.
So after checking under the passenger seat i notice a lead going into the back of the seat,
Separated the connector and checked supply was OK, then checked the resistance across the back heater, about 8 ohms, plugged it back in and it was working!!!!
I seems that the passenger one has...
Looks like i will be testing mine this weekend!
Feel like i am missing out on something,
Would be nice to know when and what models is was introduced on or maybe all models after a certain date?
Both the LCs i had never had rear back heaters :anguished:
Just checked the electrics and it seems to be classed as extra?
See attached file from the manual under diagnostics, clearly shows as seat only 'standard'
Makes me wonder if they just fit them and dont plug them in if you dont want them!
also attached location diagram if any use?
I noticed this when i first got a 120,
One thing that caught me out is i tended to knock the dimmer on the RHS with my knee when getting in or out and it moved the settings
The display will dim when the lights are turned on as Tony says
