So I changed the slave cylinder today and it appeared much better.. took it for a long drive this afternoon, hit some high revs and it changed fine - no stiffness.. However I went out again this evening and the problem recurred.. ?????????????? I'll see what happens tomorrow

Yep i was in low range while they were on - the were off in high.

I've not been offroad in low for a while .. I did today and the ABS and Diff lock lights were on .... Manual gearbox .. if that helps I can't remember if this is normal or not ?? Cheers

I had caster correction fitted a few months ago and not long afterwards the driver side (RHD) CV started grinding and so I had that replaced .. A few months on and the new CV is grinding now.. Are the 2 things related? Thanks

I just had rocker cover gasket redone. Now when I drive, if I hit accelerator hard, the engine cuts out, as in revs drop to zero.. lift my foot and she's fine again. Any suggestions on what to look for? It drives fine if I'm gentle on the accelerator and I can't replicate it when in neutral...

I've new fuel filler shield to fit into my 80, but notice there's some sort of foam/sponge protector stuck to the existing one.. Is this a required part? I can't seem to spot it on any of the fuel system parts diagrams
