Completely agree, certainly cost effective to have two shows in one and much more likely to attract visitors. It doesn't stack up, but then it's always been badly organised!!

Although hardly surprising, the Adventure & Overland Show is finishing this year. Last show to be Mid September 2024. Adventure Overland Show - [Leaving Land Cruiser Club] They've dumped the Overland side and just going to focus on camper van life in future.

@Gr8Yota interesting you mention, being a nice show and a lovely venue.... as that's what everyone I've spoken to has said and similar to all the YouTube clips aswell. I quite like that it's a 3 night show. I was just wondering whether it would be of interest to club members as an alternative...

Two years on from this thread, I was talking to an overlander this weekend about this. He was telling me that this show at Lutterworth, has quite a large Overlanding section now, full of 4x4's. Can't say I'm particularly interested in rubbing sticks together! but just wondering if anyone here...

Thanks @Towpack ..... so, out of interest, is the low level light not connected or part of the resistance coil mechanism, but actually a separate float type switch? Because if so, I'll probably, just live with the warning light until I've enough time to rip everything out again!

@Odin 8 The RTT and annex are Howling Moon. If I'm honest, I can't remember if the awning is aswell!! But they are all the same colour of heavy duty canvas, not the standard tent canvas. Instead of one roof rack, I've a front and rear and it sits on the the rear rack. Can't remember...

That's interesting Gav.... because, although rare, I've actually had a couple of times in the past, when manoeuvring something heavy in a tight space, whilst on concrete in the yard!

So if that wiring configuration is also on the UK / Euro models, does it mean you can also engage CDL whilst in Hi ratio and not restricted to only when selecting Lo ratio?

Morning Andy, I've often wondered about the CDL situation on mine, a UK model ('97, GS, 24v, Manual). Like you said, I've been told previously that the GS model should have the CDL switch, although mine hasn't. Is that because it has FF & RR diff locks, or does the CDL actually add another...
