Hi Millovan i had a similar problem with my 120 but mine is an auto gear box, some of the problem turned out to be a faulty ecu and worn gear box mounts. The auto box was also faulty, but it did have a clunk and lurched forward when i put it in drive, it was fine in reverse. Hope this helps

I use comma 2 stroke mineral oil, but I've spoken to others who use engine oil but thats a step to far for me...... putting the 2 stroke in puts my mind at ease when towing especially on a steep hill

I've added 2 stoke mineral oil to the tank everytime i fill up for the last 12 years with no issues, i dont really measure it out putting in anything from 440ml to almost double that, i've never changed the injectors and have around 170,000 on the clock, my mechanic said the engine is very quiet...

yep just put some oil on it and the result is great, I will get it changed in the next few weeks, but thanks for the advice much appreciated.

Just finished cleaning the MAF and ERG (with cleaner) and the difference is great a lot more responsive and it feels better in changing gear, really pleased

Thanks Tony your right it does feel notchy, i wont be doing it though its off to the garage, the last time they fixed it the repair has lasted a few years, although i did crash it a few weeks back so i dont think that helped........

its the 2nd time this has happened, the steering is getting stiff when trying to turn it, the last time it happened my garage fixed it, has anyone had this??? best wishes wooley

I've recently put 165, 65,17 Firestones (discovery) on as they where recomended by the garage, great when its dry, just about ok when its wet, but anything else and they are rubbish, BFG next time

Hi fella, they can be a right bugger to get off, try the metal rap round band with a long threaded screw knob from Halfords the one with the teeth on the inside and try moving it a tiny bit at a time, re-tightening each time you move it a bit, i know you've got the oil hot before but get it out...
