I fixed my rh rear door, it was a broken wire....now, could any1 provide any insite on what pin on the remote locking ecu goes to the flasher rekau

Sorry to bump an old thread....any1 having any luck....i have a 01 gxv and trying to figure out why the remote locking wont activate the flashers

I checked the upper tail gate latch and it wasnt working, also my rear rh door doesn't work...ive swapped plungers and confirmed its wiring....so gotta pull apart the back

Yes it actually locks with the tailgate still open....i trialled it and it definitely locks with to window section of the tailgate open...perhaps the door switch is broken in my tail gate then

So they car locks itself again after unlocking it and not opening a door....can you disable this....reason....i had my tail gate up walked away....it locked and i locked my keys in the boot...was out camping...so $160 excess on my roadside assist. Anf i got my keys back 5 hours later

Yeah, maint is good....just not 10k worth 2 days after i bought it...haha....i havnt told the missus bout the steering rack yet....will pump some some lucas sealant in there and try pro long it a bit

Yeah, now ive got a leak coming from the input shaft of my power steering rack.

So, just got my cruiser back after spending 6k to get her driving again.....no i have a leak from the input shaft of my steering rack. Can this be replaced without pulling the thr steering rack out? Or am i up for another big bill?

Another update.....injector pump replaced with nil effect...ecu repaired...boom fixed....$6k later

Turns out, apparently the timing was stuck at 41 dregrees. After changing the the injector pump, timing was no longer stuck (apparently) but the ECU couldn't trim the timing....ecu repaired G2G. Now im $6600 lighter in the pocket and my steinbauer chip was removed as part of fault...

No Not with private sales. Changing injector pump today....kinda funny that the injector pump is half the price of a reco engine

Well mine is always at 40 degrees but i have no code anymore, i wish this bloke was still around to tell me what fixed it as the workshop is about to change my pump as they believe the steinbauer chip destroyed to pump ROM. So heres to that.....

Does any one know how interchangable the ecu is? I have a 2001 gxv auto. Got a mate with on 02 GXL auto. Is it possible to swap the ecu's for fault finding or not? Or does the ecu pn have to be an exact match?

So the landcruiser from hell saga continues. So my cruiser is still in the shop, since it shit its self the day after i bought it....a month ago. So they removed the steinbauer chip, which improved it dramatically, removed the gas system, repaired the wiring to the tcv, but the tcv was leaking...

There are a bunch of checks to do to in the fsm. Easy enough to do. But most like the pick off on the pedal just had a little hissy fit

For those interested, it appears it could be gas injection module wiring. Also the box is upside diwn in engine bay....water could get it, but not out. Currently rewiring to remove the gas control to see if it works as an oem loom

Yeah, i got a quote before i bought it...they change all the seals out too. About $400

It got gas injection. Which is another thing which is about to run out of date. Its at the workshop now, so hopefully they find whats wrong sooner, rather than later. After it is fixed i was thinking of putting a secondary fuel filter/water trap in there too. Shame, its main and subtank are...

How much hassle? Well i bought it last friday, and the check engine light came on about 100km later the next day. Since then Ive spent 1200 trying to fix it since then.... So safe to say its off to the worse start imaginable....still no diagnosis.....just lighter pockets, and the missus is not...

I have this too, so far I have had the wire to the TCV replaced but its still buggered....Seems its going to eb an expensive fix, with anyting from injectors to ECU thrown out there.... anyone found an actual fix?
