This popped up in my news feed... I am slightly out of touch with 80 ownership and pricing, but it did look "well priced" for a 24v that is apparently not rotten! Dent/gouge in PS sill might be putting people off.

Great reply t1pper - time is no longer on my side and I have god knows how many other old vehicles that could all do with some time on them, so the 100 would have to stay 'as is' so long as it is mechanically sound for the foreseeable. i hate not having cars at their best, but sometimes...

Quick bump for the sale, must make an effort to sell it :whistle: It's just had a fresh timing belt and tensioner, one that came off was barely worn, backing up it's history. Oh and the wheel bearing adjusted.

Thank you for help so far and info :-) I've found out some more info on the pump that was fitted. Apparently it was a new 24v body and was built up without the non essential bits, egr, "throttle hold between gear changes"? etc...I do not know if its been tweaked at all and will do some reading...

Have been in the lookout for an 80 td for a while and this has struggled to sell...and has been relisted at least once, maybe twice. seems like a good buy on the face of it, I am after a tow truck rather than a show truck, so rebuilt bits and bobs and the intercooler setup are more important...
