100,000 miles ... and a red timing belt warning light

I reached 100,000 miles today, and exactly on the dot the red "Timing Belt" warning light came on. (1HD-FT engine)
It's supposed to be changed at 100,000 km / 60,000 miles, which it duly was, so I'm mighty glad that this list has taught me how to reset it via the little pin on the dash - thanks guys!
But I do think it's quite amusing that a UK spec truck, with an odometer calibrated in miles, should trip this at 100k miles rather than at 60k!
So if you've got the diesel engine, and have yet to reach a multiple of 100k in whatever units your odometer is calibrated in, be prepared!

It was changed at 60k miles (at my instigation) at the Exeter Toyota dealer, who said they had reset the counter.
So I'm afraid I don't know what state it was in, but it didn't seem to make any difference to how the truck went so probably it was OK.
I was just amused that the light came on at so exactly the wrong mileage - a classic example of the difference between precision and accuracy!
