I bought genuine Toyota inner sills via Simon Holton, great service as usual - but they cost c. £273 each.

Big solid things though .

Fitting is not a fun job, though, as cutting out the old ones reveals other problems to be fixed.

I have sourced inner and outer sills complete.
Now I need some one to put a price together to cut the old ones out, and weld in the replacements.

Are you inclined?

Errr no - I haven't finished repairing the '100' and the '90' is still waiting, while rusting away slowly.

Right now I'm taking this 300-year-old farmhouse apart to install 11 smoke / heat / CO detectors . . . I just wish I could lock Nicola Sturgeon in here when they all go off .

There is never a slack time.

A professional would do a lot neater and quicker job than I could.
