Hi, everyone.
I drive a 1989 61 series cruiser factory turbo 5 speed g/box.
My problem is this.
After I drive for an extended period (e.g. on a highway, at regulation speeds), or under load (towing) when I down change gears to slow down too turn/ take a corner the vehicle has a brief loss of power as if it's about to stall, it then picks up again ???. This only occurs after the vehicle is driven for an extended period. Once the vehicle cools down, is switched of the problem goes away.
When the vehicle is driven at normal suburban speeds (i.e. stop start driving) this problem does not happen!!!
Has anyone experienced this same problem, if so I'd appreciate some suggestions.
Many thanks for your time to read this.
