Hi guys

I am posting an ad on behalf of a friend in SA who is selling a 105 Petrol. I know they're like hen's teeth in the UK and they're a bit like unicorns having the 80 series chassis and solid axles but the 100 series body. I've shipped 2 vehicles over recently and the cost isn't bad. £2050 in a container. Better of course would be to drive it back! Posted for interest or if someone wants a unicorn! I've only ever seen 1 in the UK - maybe there are lots more?
Happy viewing.. The pics are listed as links but the whole ad is on the SA site if it's easier to view

Nice looking truck and very low mileage too. I can only remember seeing one petrol engined 105 in the UK as well, which was being offered for sale, maybe it was the same one? I have only seen a handful of diesel engined 105's over here, so yes they are pretty rare.

Purley out of interest only, does it have any axle lockers? As far as I'm aware the 105 didn't come with them as standard.

Hope it finds a good home.

When I see 100's over here I often glance down as I walk/drive past (to see if it has front radious arms) and there nearly always 105's.

I've seen quite a few ones with rear barn doors aswell.

So OZ might be a good source for live axle LandCruisers in years to come when 80's start getting rare in the UK/Europe. :icon-biggrin:
