37" x 12.5 R17 KM2's @ £150 a piece new!

Didn't realise you had 17" rims Ryan. Thought you were going for 35"s too. By they are a very good price indeed. Well done.

I bought a set of 17" Steel rims from Silverline with a 32mm offset, which should help keep the tyres off the chassis rails when things get a little flexy. They should hopefully arrive early next week. Just the diffs to sort out then.

Sound similar to mine. Just make sure you set the bump stops. When I put 37's on, they munched the flares. They don't fit inside the arch anymore when you flex. They stick further out than that.

You going 4.56? I found that was fine. You can go 4.88 but I am not sure it's necessary.

No, going 4.88's. Bumpstops are currently dropped 125mm. I have a big hammer if need be.

Ryan your a bad person for posting that link been trying to talk myself out of a big lift and 37's now you post dirt cheap tyres.
Thanks
Off to talk some sence into myself.
Stu

Resistance is futile Stu, it's a sign that they are that cheap. Hell they are cheaper than 285's...

Bloody 'eck, can't wait to see them on some metal and bolted up!

What a bargain, now I'm in the same soup as Stu, ......

Just worked out I'd need to go to 315/85/16 to match them on a 16" dia rim.

Hey Clive,

I don't think BFG do a tyre in that size. Biggest KM2 on a 16" rim I found in the UK was a 315/75 In the states they do a 354/75 (36.4") and a 365/75 (37.5"). That is why I went for 17" steel wheels.

PS: Just checked the link and it seems they are now sold out...:orcs-buttshake:

Thank f***k for that, decision made for me

Cheers for the info, but I might try going for 35s on my next purchase, BFG ATs, I think that would be 315/75/16, which they do stock IIRC.

My BFG KM2s are hardly worn, so I can't justify another set of them for a while.

I finally have these mounted. Here are a few before and afters.
