6 stacker stereo wont let me load a cd

Hi folks I've just bought a cruiser a 2002 100 series and 6 stacker stereo wont let me load a cd in the unit ,I press the load button it flashes wait for a few seconds then goes back to the radio anyone had anything like this happen and any answers on how to fix it please before I go to toyota dealer or stereo shop and get ripped off for something simple ?

Also it has a after market turbo fitted and I've had one mechanic suggest I remove it because the motor wasn't designed to have it on there but I will lose plenty of power if I do remove it ? any one here have after market turbo fitted to a similar model and any issues .

I have a spare cartridge for the autoloader - don't know if it works (I'll try it out) - but you are welcomed to it.

Hi Nathanrobo thanks mate appreciate the offer but I think I'll just get the new stereo the car yard is offering to replace it ,may as well get a new one while it's on offer
