Finally coughed up the green folding stuff for an 80 series, got back from
Sussex at 2.30 this morning.
Many thanks to those who gave advice on LPG etc. Decided to buy a 4.5 24v
and sort out my own LPG kit in the new year as I looked at a few and they
seemed to be all over the place in terms of quality of install.
Now I can give the old FJ62 a rest and attack the dreaded tin worm.
All the best,
Neill Watson

Neill,
Keep telling my wife an 80 series would be ideal for us and there are some
nice examples out there, but no luck in convincing her so far.
Green, your seller accepted old =A31 notes or dollars?

Hi Malcolm
Let her go for a drive in one... My wife was amazed how easy the big
beast is to drive, easier then our Mondeo...
This surprise won the LC80 and I lots of Brownie Points, and now my wife
loves the LC80 as much as I do...

Took my mate who owns a LR County down a simple green lane yesterday
morning, nothing demanding, just high range bumbling along. "Sh*t..The
quality makes mine look a bit stupid" was the comment after about 500
metres.
Wifey used too drive the FJ62, so she'll think this is a Lexus :)
