Both my props are pretty worn. I have renewed the ujs, but there is slight play in the yoke and on the sliders.
Can you get these refurbished? Or is it go down the 2nd hand route or genuine?

Its a 1996 4.2 UK spec GS model.

Any thoughts and advice is appreciated.

Thanks
Roy

Roy, been in the same situation. I went to a prop specialist in Rotherham and they were very clear that making me a new prop would be far more sensible. So they did. If it had been a Landy maybe the individual parts might have been available by the bucket load. But on an 80? So now my front prop is made with some of the most common parts and bearings on Earth. I can't recall what I paid, but it was not a fortune and if you think about it, other than grease, that prop will outlive me.

Appreciate this is not in your neck of the woods but I used these people. Now don't let the glossy website fool you. They're a proper old school shed.

Probably cheapest option is to get them custom made - there are a few specialists in the UK that will do this. I had one done for a Jeep XJ a while ago and it was a fraction of the cost of a new one from Jeep. You can also specify upgrades, like wide angle yokes, etc.

LOL - Chris - I think we posted at the same time! Place I used was in Wales, near the England border - I can try to find the info if its helpful.

Thank you both - I really appreciate it. I'll check them out and see what they can do for me.
