John,
They would only NOT fit (not sure regd 92 model) in your rotors are quite
new and very little wear on them. With brand new 100 pads (as little thicker
than 80 pad) they may not fit. I've heard of a few guys that just took off
the squel/shim pad on the back and that squeezed it in and another that
'wore' down the pad itself (not a great idea as abestos based I believe).
I've gone back to the 80 pads myself as the 100 didn't seem worth the price.
They made some difference but didn't notice a huge deal. Didn;t do an
exhaustive testing one against the other (60mph stop in x secs/feet, ditto
for 85mpg, braking coming down long hills, same for hauling a trailer
etc...)

Subject: Re: [ELCO] [80] [Tech] Brake pads
Hi guys
Thanks for the replies. The cruiser was left in to toyota to have the
bushing fitted and while there I asked for 100 series pads for the front
which they said they would fit. When I collected it I was told that they
could not fit the 100 pads as they were just a little too big so they put on
80 pads. Is it possible that the 92 cruiser will not take the 100 pads. I
told him if I can get a part number I would go back to him.
Thanks
