Morning all
Do any of you know what spec weight the cruiser springs at the rear are made
to ,by that I mean what wieght can you carry as a guide. The reason for this
question ids that I am still looking into the OME springs and I may have it
narrowed down to some but they have specs like load on the rear is 300 kg or
600 kg. I just had a thought I wonder is that per spring or per pair of
springs, ill have to check that one out. Would you believe that I still
haven't found a good roof rack supplier that doesn't want a cruiser full of
cash for it. More research I think , first thing to find someone who will
open me nuts for me. Is there no other way of putting ATF in the gear box
other than through the dip stick hole and is there any problem with air or
anything else complicated in changing the oil. It can't be straight forward
now can it.

For stock springs - check load capacity from the user's manual. When
you buy OME springs, you have a choice of light, medium or heavy
duty. Stock springs are rated as light duty. If you want springs made
to order, you send them the old springs, tell them how much more
weight you want to carry and the will calculate the spring dimnsions
for you.

John,
Do check out the Slee Off Road side that I posted the details about
earlier - that has good info on the best spring/shocks combinations.
