Hello to all LC Club Members out there. I'm an original owner. I have a running electrical problem with my Cruiser. My moon roof got stuck with a slim opening. The days drying it out have developed an electrical problem.

I've solved the moon roof, replaced the battery and generator.

It falls to 9v and lower while idling and needs a jump and a open road or high rpms to stay running. Anything above 40 mph for thirty minutes helps turn off the CHARGE warning light then a check engine light will show up eventually.

I've poured through dozens of web pages and electrical service manuals none corresponding to my specific model or year.

I've bought a OBD reader and a Multimeter. Any direction to solve this dilemma would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

I don't know your vehicle at all but many a strange thing has been explained when the owner finally got around to checking rear lights and tow bar electrics , its an LC trait of aging it seems and often the last place anyone looks .
