Hi All,
Finally some more info on the ELCO weekend being hosted by list member
Tony Symonds.
The dates are 18th-20th April.
Location:
Lincomb Farm
Lincomb
Stourport on Severn
Worcestershire
DY13 9RB
The main aim of the weekend is realy for the socialising, a good chance
to put faces to names, meet old friends, etc, however you will also
have a good opportunity to go and play in your trucks.
As a family event wives/partners and children are welcome - I'll
probably bring my two older girls (6 & 7), but don't forget to bring
things to keep the little tikes entertained in the evenings.
The plan is to meet up on the Friday evening and then spend Saturday
either Green Laning over in Wales direction or playing on the Lincomb
Farm off road coarse and tracks around the farm. There will be a
further opportunity to use the off road coarse on the Sunday morning.
A lite supper will be provided on the Friday evening (Jacket Potatoes),
there will be a lunch on the Saturday for those staying on site
(Ploughmans) followed by a BBQ on the Saturday evening and possibly
something for Sunday lunch.
A small field has been set aside for camping with basic facilites
(water and a couple of loos).
There are also B&B facilities on site and locally as well as local pubs
for alternative food.
It has been difficult to sort out the pricing to cater for all
eventualities so this is what we have come up with:
Camping per night: ?10 per vehicle
Friday meal (Jacket Potatoes): ?5 per head
Saturday Lincomb all day play: ?15 per vehicle
Saturday Lunch/Picnic (Ploughmans): ?5
Saturday BBQ: ?10 per head
Sunday morning play: ?10 per vehicle
Booze won't be provided, but you can obviously bring your own and the
same goes for bringing your own food. If they are nice evenings plan
for a few beers round the camp fire!
Please note that the weekend is totally dependent on the weather - if
it is very wet leading up to the weekend we will have to cancel.
I'll be putting further info and a pre-registration form onto the
website over the weekend.
If you have any questions, please either email me directly or call me.
I'll let you know when the registration form goes up.
