[Admin] GMail Invites

If any of you are concerned about the amount of traffic from this and
other list and would like to setup another mail account, I have some
invites to give out accounts from GMail.
GMail is a web based mail account that has no limits on file sizes and
provides 1Gb of storage - enough for a few years worth of traffic from
this list.
All you need to access it is a web browser.
If interested, drop me a line off list.

wants to try it ...

I haven't much of a clue accept that it appears to be some sort of program
that is written to handle e-mail accounts a form of web mail or something
like that you will have to wait until one of the IT experts come on line
probably in the morning.

Why have a mind if you can't change it?

The Gmail Notifier is in beta. Here are some of the things we're
working on to make it better:
1. Support for Mac and Linux operating systems
2. New mail notifications for multiple Gmail accounts on the same computer
3. Launch Gmail from the Notifier using a secure connection (HTTPS)
4. New mail notifications for messages filtered to bypass your inbox
So they are looking at building that into the notifier! Hope that happens SOON.
Cheers
Jake
