Hi Brendan,
OK, not 100% sure about what you are asking.
I suppose I could have a button on the web system to enable you to forward a
particular message or thread to your email account.
*** that would work
Obviously you will be able to reply to messages on the web via the web
*** that will do
, but it would be tricky replying message you have seen on the web via email
because you would need to maintain the subject line a some header info in
order to maintain the threading.
*** no need
It would also be tricky to reply to messages that you have forwarded to
yourself, although could work around that.
*** no need
How about the idea of being able to subscribe to a particular thread? If
you see a few messages in a new thread that is of interest, you could press
a button and then receive copies of all the emails to date in the thread and
also all future emails in that thread.
*** sounds good
A couple of things I forgot to mention for the web version - you will be
able to get notifications via email if someone replies to a message you have
posted - the notification will basically say that a reply has been posted
and provide a link to go and view it.
*** very nice
You would also have an option to track a thread when you would get an email
notification every time a new message is posted to a chosen thread.
Would that do?
** Yep
