[ADMIN] Possible Salisbury Plain trip - 25th March 2007

Hi,
I'm toying with the idea of organising another Salisbury Plain trip on
the Sunday 25th March.
I need to check with the MOD and the Bustard first, but will do that
this week.
The trip is long overdue, however all being well I'll be leaving for
Morocco the following Saturday and it will give me a good chance to
shake down the car, however if I'm running out of time to get
organised I may need to drop out at the last minute and leave someone
else in charge of organising things on the day.
So, please could you reply to this message if you are interested in
coming along.
Also, please could you let me know if....
(a) you are willing to lead a group of around 5 other cars around. I
have a number of routes pre plotted that I can hand out, although some
sort of Satnav system will help (all the routes I have are plotted on
Memory Map)
(b) you are willing to take over the organising on the day - mainly
just ticking off names on lists, making sure people get into the right
groups and then making sure that lunch is paid for.
As with the last trips the main emphasis is a friendly family day out
to get people together and put faces to names.
None of the tracks around the plain can be classified as challenging,
but if the rain keeps up there will likely be a fair bit of mud around.
For those that haven't been before we try to meet up down on the plain
around 8.30am, spend the morning driving the local tracks and then
retire to Bustard inn for lunch and then afterwards you can either stay
at the pub and admire each others cars or take off again for some more
fun and frolics in the mud.
On the costs front the lunch is generally around ?8-9 per head and then
I try to take donations for the organisation of the day (around ?10 per
vehicle), with the funds paying for the group leader's lunches and then
the remaining going to a local charity.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Julian,
Please count me in. I've still got a set of stock springs and shocks put by
for you, so if you still want them I'll bring them on the day.
