[ADMIN] Salisbury Plain Date - 30th April

I have had a chance to chat to all those involved at the MOD, etc and
have settled on the 30th April for our next outing to Salisbury Plain.
I was hoping to go for the 23rd, but they are running live firing
exercises then so the main area of the plain would be closed.
I'll be sticking more info about the day up on the website in the next
few days, but now at least you will all have a date to stick down in
your diary.

Nice one. Also like to endorse your plans for the big event to rival
Billing. I know there is a downside to big numbers but an opportunity to put
ourselves on the map seems good to me.
We will never match the LR numbers simply because of the fact that we are on
LRs home turf. And they have years of loyal followers but from small acorns
etc.
Anyway, glasses raised to Julian at some point over the weekend.

Hi Peter,
Sorry about that, had to go (a) with the consensus and (b) when they
weren't live firing.
One benefit of that date is that it is a Bank Holiday weekend so no
need to rush back in Sunday night traffic.
Just hope we get a bit of rain between now and then.
