[ADMIN] Salisbury Plain Update

Hi All,
Well things seem to be hotting up for the Salisbury Plain day. At last
count we have 24 vehicles with 31 passengers = 58 people in total
coming and I know of a few more that might be registering.
We have exceeded the limit (40) on the number of people we can have
sitting down for a meal in the Function Room at the pub so have had to
book the whole pub providing seating for a further 26 in the restaurant
and 10 in the snug.
If it carries on like this we might end up having to get some people to
go off to another pub for the lunch!
On the vehicle side of things, out of the 24 4x4s registered, we have:
22 Toyota Landcruisers
1 x 40 Series
3 x 70 Series
16 x 80 Series
1 x 90 Series
1 x 100 Series
Call for Help:
It is getting to the point that I could really do with one or two
people helping me on the day co-ordinting the seating for the meals and
then helping the staff clear the function room before Chris' talk.
I know we opted not to have name tags, but am trying to scrounge some
jackets from Toyota so at least the organisers/help can be identified.
In the lead up to the day I will be sending out an email confirming
bookings and giving the names and mobile numbers of helpers.
So if you are possibly coming on your own and are willing to help,
please could you let me know (as I say you might get a jacket out of
it)!
Lifts
I know one or two of you will want lifts around the plain on the day
and that should be easy enough to organise.
I do however have an American couple wanting to come down from the
Bloomsbury area of London - any of you Londoners willing to give them a
lift?
(Steve I know you have offered and will bear it in mind, but just
looking for other takers so we have some options!).
Stickers
I have been looking into this and to be honest am running out of steam
on the idea this side of Salisbury. I have someone working on the logo
from the site so that it can be used for stickers and have found some
companies that do short run window/bumper stickers, but will pick the
thread up after Salisbury.

Julian, I am quite happy to help on the day. Should I bring my my marigold rubber gloves and some washing up liquid as well ???
Regards Gareth.
PS - I got some good bargains on Saturday, EPCO 10 ton trolley jack, pit jack, large workbench with 2 Record vices, a bench grinder and pillar drill, a 10 ton body straightening kit - hyd pump / rams / extension pieces / opening jaws - all for =A3175 - well worth the drive.

Hi Gareth,
THanks Gareth and don't joke about it. If the numbers increase much
more you might need to dig out your waitress uniform!
Well done. I never got around to doing my axle - the parts didn't
arrive until this morning.
