Hi,
I am just starting to make plans for a weekend trip to mid Wales in the
summer and am provisionally looking at the Bank Holiday weekend of the
26th/27th/28th August.
The main aim of the weekend is for the social side of things, but we
will arrange local laning trips as well as visits to a local off road
centre for more serious fun.
I would imagine the we would be looking for camping facilites for the
Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
I will be trying to organise a hog roast or some form of evening
entertainment on the Saturday night and possibly even the Sunday night.
If the facilities are available we might also be able to pursuade
people like Chris Scott to come along to talk about Overlanding and/or
get others to provide workshop/driving/winching training.
Obviously things will be a bit up in the air until I finalise where we
will be.
This will be a family affair so imagine wives/partners/children would
be coming along as well.
In order to get a rough idea of numbers of who might be interested in
attending, please could you send me a direct email letting me know:
1. Are the dates OK for you.
2. Will you be camping, bringing a caravan or trying to find a local
B&B?
3. Roughly how many will there be in your party?
4. What sort of things would you like to do over the weekend?
