Hi all,
I'm back in from the cold - well sort of anyway!!

I did however score an own goal this morning, took the 'cruiser for a wash, all was going fine, until on the second run I for some stupid reason turned the power on, and the aerial came up just as the rollers appeared, and they sure made a mess of it  . Is it possible to just replace the mast without digging around in the wheel arch etc? The motor still seems to be a happy puppy thankfully.

Cheers
Andrew

Wow, so you were lucky,

I was behind a car, waiting in line for a automatic car wash,
and also seen this happen.
I have heard that on some occasions, the roof roller has pulled the aerial out of the body, by wrapping itself around the roller.
That's not the bad bit.
The bad bit, is when it carries on washing the vehicle with the aerial still wrapped around the roller.

Can turn out to be a very expensive car wash, with a lot of paint damage.

Andrew, have a look on the TOYO parts view. It'll show you there. I think it does. The 80 one unscrews off the end of the flexible plastic snake section. I just got one from Mr Rubie. Mine flies up and down now. OK there's no radio attached to the end of it, but it looks cool.
