Hello guys in trying to fix my aircon and seems my compresor has seized solid.
I want the correct part but with out removing the part I need the correct part number.
Long shot but has any one got the same engine 1kd j120 122hp.
The picture I have takes part of the sticker but the part number is hidden but starts with 44 by the look of it.

This is my compresor sticker that I forgot to attach.

See here

Thanks TonyP for your information
I found a site called
(opie oils. Co. UK)
and it gives the full information needed about your car information. Found the compressor I was looking for and it don't match the part on mine.
The compressor is with my reg and chassis number just £373.00 denso brand new to buy.

Sounds good. I got mine from Opi Oils back then as they were the cheapest, and it's been fine since then. Denso too

Sorry just read your message late with your information regarding opie oils and I quoted the same thing back.
Site looks good so may just bite the bullet and get one and not tell the wife how much. :laughing-rolling::laughing-rolling:

Well tell her, but NEVER give the full price...

Theres a discount code on here somewhere for opie too, i used it the other day. Think its something imaginative like landcruiser

Well I have tried to find my correct aircon compressor but to no avail. I have found lots of aircon compressors on the net but none match my part number.
Since I found that my part starts with 44 as a part number I have tried to find a denso part with my part number but no luck.
I phoned toyota to get my correct compressor and will stay with no aircon at them prices.
Compressor =£600+vat
Cluch kit. =£300+vat

What a rip..
Got a diagram of the parts from Toyota and I am still none of the wiser to the part number as the diagram shows.

Tony it looks like the part numbers starting with 44 are denso part numbers and not Toyota part numbers , I just looked on the site Lorin proposed to you , if you click on Toyota on the left hand side of the page it brings up one for the 120 1kd click on that and you will see it lists Toyota's part numbers and and also Denso part numbers and Denso numbers start with 44 . hope that helps ,

Just looked and you are correct and cheaper than I found anyway.
Thanks tonycy11 your a star.

The o ring kit is that all you need to service your own compressor even if it's seized up. Obviously you need oil but is there more to fixing a sized compressor with magnetic clutch.

If I replace the compressor do I need to replace the dryers and we're can I find the correct parts. How many dryers are there.

After a lot of searching for a new compressor I finally found one for £200.34 save all the hassle of fixing my old one and finding parts to fix it so took the lazy option.

The top picture was £200.34.

I tried to replace the drier on mine, it's on the left hand side of the radiator as you face the car. It was so tight that I actually bent the rad trying to open it at the bottom to change it. Needless to say it stayed in. I have the replacement somewhere. Think it came from ebay. I'll see if I can find the lunk

So does it need to be changed then as few comments say it a pain to remove.

Found this on ebay if this is the correct part.

When you put everything back together did you just put new gas in or get it vacumed properly and does your aircon work as it should with no nasty smells.

Only asking as just spoke to a friend of mine and says I shouldn't have to replace the dryers but will need a proper vacuum and regas.

Yes, put it all together and took it to a garage that vaccumed it and regassed it. Still working fine 2years on
