An alternative snake oil???

Hi all.

I've just received an email suggestion the use of this:

Does anyone have any experience of it? Or just opinions?

I've had some for ages. I tried it when I first got it but was unable to
make any kind of scientific test of it's fuel consumption benefits at
the time and I was experimenting with other things as well. I've since
realised it's impossible for me to do proper testing in my 80 because
where and how I drive varies so much.
I did test emissions at a local MOT station and they were reduced but it
was over a year ago now so I can't remember the numbers!
If I remember (now you've jogged my memory) I'll start using it in
Steph's 80 (more constant usage pattern) and see if I notice a
difference.
