Peter,
I've had the exact same issue years ago in Scotland but kinda in reverse
Petrol ran fine and LPG was really wonky (as u describe)
Then it went away (my LPG guy tweaked it but never found the problem)
Then months later it reversed itself (fine on LPG but sucked on petrol)
Again it went away and never found the issue.
I though it was an intermitent grounding of wires or something but checked
the harness issue that other (some) TLC's found behind glove box and on
other side of firewall. But my wires were all fine - no breaks or grounding.
Based on the hesistancy it sounds like a vacuum leak, but why run fine on
LPG (I presume yours goes into airflow/intake near trottle body and its not
injection feed?). Don't make sense.
Lal in Colorado (US 96 petrol FZJ80 truck) and is just starting back up his
LPG after 1.5 yrs of non-use as petrol prices $3/gal and Propane/LPG at
$1.85. Yah. yah its nothing compared to the $6/gal ye guys are paying but
I'm not used to putting $50+ into my truck.
Anyways I had a very corroded solonoid on the vaporise that wasn't working
and now its fine, as long as I don't go above 1700 recs (25mph!) otherwise
it kinda cuts it there
No I'm gonna check my lpg filers and steeper
motor over the w/e

Hi Peter,
Yes, as long as you make them small, otherwise fire them over to me and
I'll take a look.
The only other person I know with experience of the petrols is Andy
Bell, but he's been a bit quiet.
Also, Brendan Lally (are you there?) might be able to help - he has a
UK gas conversion over in the US.
