Hey all, just subscribed to this forum to learn and maybe contribute sometimes.. I live on a farm in the centre of The Netherlands and am 53 years old. Changed my farming career towards the wind turbine industry and rent out the fields since 2005. My HZJ75 Pick-up is almost 25 years old now, had just minor issues with it, worse was a thrown up stone (probably) put a tiny hole in the radiator, which lead to a overheating and a cracked head because I didn't notice in time... Afcourse, rust on the body is becoming an issue, 3 years ago I replaced the pick-up bed, the front wings are next and already bought. Mileage at the moment is about 275000 km, so not even half way....

Interesting about the turbines; could you not farm around them?

Thnx, No permit for a turbine on my fields from the local council I'm afraid, but quite a lot of them close by.. one of my neighbours is farming on my fields and I work at a company maintaining, installing, dismounting and rebuilding turbines, just been exchanging 3 gearboxes and 4 generators on an off-shore windpark.
