Another hello for the land of Kilts and Haggis

Ha ha Dervis, it’s a bit Mad Max for sure, will likely look for something else, possibly with a winch, I have an ambition to drive to Magadan, Russia, well I’d love to do it on my bike, but I think this way the family can come!

Cheers

On a bike you say,

Interested.

Graham

Wonder what happened to the other wheels. also doesnt look as though it has the carrier on now.

Thanks Andy, enjoyed reading about it!

Karl I think he sold the wheels, hopefully he still has the carrier for me!

cheers

Haha Andy, I'm not sure if I meant the nasty words or the work involved in preparing them for use!

would be interesting to read the report if you were ever able to find it again

Chapel Gate, yep the Road of Bones and the Old Summer Road are a dream, I can't help thinking easier to do on the bike, but much more comfortable in the LC. Not sure I'd like to cross the Vitim bridge with the LC either!

cheers
Yeah, one of my (many) dreams too..

Graham I have an old Africa Twin I rebuilt, I'd love to go and do it

cheers

Last bike I sold was an RD07 (2002)
So very last of the original AT bikes,

I am swayed towards the 700cc TransAlp.

Graham

Graham, I have a 99 RD07, only done 21k with all history. I did a full rebuild last year on it and then sold my 1200GSA. only miss the wind protection from it!

cheers

Apologies to everyone except Graham for the non LCposts!

Cheers

That looks like the Cromarty Firth, with those drilling rigs stacked up ?
My folks live in Ardersier opposite it.

Yeah Andy, just outside Cromarty, early summer when we thought that day was summer, haha!
