Whipped the old bus up for an MOT today. Got straight in. Been going there for years so they know me and my vehicles. I just didn't have time to go over it before hand so I just let them have at it. Easier then me lying on my drive wiggling stuff.

Slight wear in the rear lower ARB bushes. Slight cracking of one boot on the DS track rod end and slight play in wheel bearing. They did all of that under advisories. Before Germany, I checked the wheel bearings. In fact I replaced one as it was almost dropping off but the other side felt fine. Well it clearly wasn't. When I went to nip up the slight play, I found exactly the same as the other side I'd changed. Utterly shagged. How it hadn't failed on the trip I don't know. Inner bearing was very good but the outer was shocking. That's what driving in Russian tank ranges does for you!

Quick rummage in the stores and all three jobs done. Oddly no criticism of the horn this year.

Not quite 250,000 miles. Calls for a trip next year I think.
