Hi,
I’m Richard from Kent and I’m new to the site.
I’ve owned my automatic 1997 Landcruiser 80 series (HDJ81) with 158,000miles for little over a year now and use it for overlanding.
It has OME 2” lift springs and Bilstein shocks and BFG AT2 285/75 R16 tires and a Rhino roof rack.
I built a fold-out sleeping platform in the boot to use with a tri-fold double mattress and had some window blinds custom made and am soon to fit a fridge and a 270 degree awning.
My previous 4x4’s were an Isuzu Trooper 3.1 LWB and a Range Rover Classic 3.9 V8 which I used for the weekends mud-plugging at pay and play sites and taking part in some events.
