Roman, I agree with you, purely from an engineering standpoint it is the
best option giving a choice - in my case - of 5 speeds. They are rare
things though these PTO units. I have looked on Ebay a couple of times
with no luck.
So ------ has anyone out got, or knows of a Power Take Off unit for an
80 series cruiser that's for sale ???

Hi all,
There's still an option for setting up a hydraulic pump to run from
the PTO. No messing with sliding belts/pulleys, gearing can be
adjusted to match the pump's flow rate, etc... A nice project for a
true enthusiast!
