I'm currently in Buenos Aires, Argentina after 1 year on the road from Alaska via North, Central and South America
Family have all returned back and I'm left sorting out shipping for 1997 USA 80 series 4.5L petrol automatic

Looking at getting some insurance quotes and some advice on state of the market, who's who, who to avoid, add-ons LPG, (ARB RTT, winch, bull bars etc..) and also have 4x4 overland trailer in tow (with RTT + other goodies)

My prev. car insurance history is long ago (maybe Guardian not sure) so no "history".
I can "get" insurance history from US side but don't know if thats of any used.

thanks
Brendan

Insurers in the UK will honour no claims issued abroad but need a certificate. And it can't be more than a yr old.

One thing i found out about insurance here- every one has a target demographic they want to rope in this year. So call as many companies as you can. And is a price comparison site gives you £500 for a brand.... does not mean that calling them will get you the same price!
