Come on Roman, this is character defining stuff. Imagine you desest
travellers are out there , deep in the Tenere, broken down with just a
week old Hovis sliced white loaf and a jar of Marmite. The stuff of
nightmares ! How long could you survive for ??
Gareth Jones.

Talking about getting off topic...
Personally I prefer Vegemite on hot buttered white bread!

Gareth
Well, actually, a week old hovis slice and a spot of marmite is okay
and can give you energy for at least 1 day...the good old wet stuff, H20
is what you need - and you can always make a marmite tea with water...
Renate, whose been there (well, no marmite mind, but no food in the
desert, but enough of the wet stuff to survive - character-building
stuff....)

Well, it takes all sorts doesn't it....
How can you think of toast, marmalade and brown sauce - is this, like,
a Welsh speciality...? (wonder if Gareth or Anthony know about this...)

Hi Renate,
Normally eat brown, but white is best for marmite/vegemite on toast.
I would love to say yes, but won't have time to go to farm - also they are
currently so poor quality I would be to embarrased to give them to anyone.
