Ok so I've bit the bullet and booked it. Camping is from Friday late morning and you can stay until Monday if you so wish. Camping is £6 per unit a night. There are 2 toilets on site a fresh water tap and waste point. Field is 2 acres and a fire is permitted within a steel enclosure namely a rear tractor wheel which is supplied. Caravans are ok but no electric hook ups available. All rubbish to be removed please. We will need to supply wood to burn. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
I have booked the off road course for Saturday only at the moment but if numbers allow will include Sunday also. I've contacted a local 4x4 club and am in discussions with them to try and provide a guided green laning run out on the sunday also. I would need to know interest in this to allow enough guides to keep group numbers reasonable. If required a pressure washer and generator can be used in the corner of the field to wash down trucks prior to a drive home. I'm happy to bring mine. The site isn't huge but there's a range of hills ,holes , some rock steps and a wooded area. Some verging on extreme and plenty for a standard truck on all terrains and non damaging. I'd like a £20 deposit non returnable if you simply decide not to show. If we get enough bookings I'll book the site for the sunday.
If I get 10 trucks you get 1 day off road course use and a laning trip and 2 nights camping for £32. The more bookings the cheaper it will get. I can't make it any fairer.
I just need to cover my costs. I'll start a separate list . Please state if you wish to take part in green laning on the Sunday please. I'll get the wife to sort deposits out at a later date. Any other questions please ask. Site post code is LE16 9UJ.

Dear All, I planned to come alone for this meet, I noticed that my kid is feeling lonely (lockdown effect) whatever I do I am thinking of getting my kid. Is it suitable for kid to be in such meet. Just asking. Even if not suitable, I ll join n plan a nearby hotel or resort for Mrs n kid.

Super Jacob, my kid is 6 now. What do I need to get. I have no idea what to buy and get for camping.

No idea what the campsite is like at this place but a ground tent and some sleeping bags should do the job in August. Or a makeshift setup in the back of the Cruiser with the seats folded flat.

Hi all. Update on this meeting. I'm not going to bother taking deposits from anyone. Enough have shown interest to easily cover the cost of the site so I'll sort it out face to face at the meeting. I'm in talks with guys from the local 4x4 club regarding the laning and I'll report back as soon as everything is agreed. Just a note to anyone not wishing to go off road or laning this is still a social meet so do as much or as little as you wish. I'll be at the pub meet in July and look forward to seeing everyone again.
