I picked this ‘99 100 Series 2UZ-FE Auto, 135k, with General Grabber MT, up a few weeks ago. Since the demise of my last 100 (rust) and unfortunate series of events with the 80, I’ve been cruiser-less but happy to be back in one again.
She’s not perfect but in much better general shape that the previous one and the v8 is so smooth.
Picked her up as a petrol/lpg but didn’t want/need/like the lpg so had that taken off earlier this week, picked up a 3rd row of seats and had the tyres balanced, quick check over and off we go.
A few bits to fix : front NS hub as when wheel fitted two studs broke off (tomorrow morning), need new rear carpet as was cut for lpg, also a new/2nd Hand enclosed air box needed. I’m planning a full service next month at Toyota, although I’m due to move house in a few weeks so that may have to wait.
I’ll post updates on progress but so far very happy.

Front NS hub replaced this afternoon, enjoyed helping/doing some myself and confident I could do it myself next time.

Two fill ups today: first was after the last few weeks pooling around town, 11mpg average. Second was after a trip to work HQ Which was 142mile round trip mostly on motorway, 19mpg.

Pretty much what I was expecting and I’m running MTs so that won’t be helping lol.

What does anyone else get?

I get an average of 12 in the summer and 14 in the winter, with mixed driving. Down to 9 if I'm really careful on longish trips, low speed, no hills or bends.

Those are all litres per 100km figures I assume?

That's roughly 24mpg, 20mpg and 31mpg respectively - which is much, much better than I would have imagined.

Edit - figures changed because I initially converted to US gallons, now converted to proper (Imp) gallons and the figures are even better!
