Peter,
Yes, unless presented with a clear evidence they have been changed,
but the job is not really a big deal.
If you want a reliable engine with that sort of mileage be prepared to
dig deeper and find even more work to be required (like injectors,
compression, valve adjustment, etc).
Or you can always hope for the best of luck and try to find out how
far you can go without investing any money.
